Vijaya Kumar Siripina (Vijay) received a Master's degree in Environmental Chemistry from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India. In 2017 he completed Ph.D. in Atmospheric Chemistry from IIT Madras advised by the Prof. B. Rajakumar. His research focused on the laboratory and computational studies of kinetics of OH radicals and Cl atoms with Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) which are taking place in the Earth's atmosphere. He joined as a Post-doctoral fellow in Prof. James Anderson research group at Harvard University in 2019. Dr. Vijay is currently working on the atmospheric modeling, computational chemistry and laboratory studies of kinetics of halogens, halogen oxides with ozone under stratospheric conditions.
