Performance on the NASA WB57F research aircraft

The WB57 instrument had its initial test flight series in May, 2001. Figures 3a and b show an example of data taken during cruise on 010521 where the duct velocity is varied from about 40 to 80 meters/second, with no visible dependence on velocity. In figure 3a water vapor mixing ratio is plotted along with duct velocity while Figure 6b plots the water vapor mixing ratio vs. duct velocity. While the water vapor mixing ratio during this flight segment is variable, there is no visible dependence on duct velocity.
